General Delivery Information:
Delivery in Mainland UK for consignments up to circa 100kg, is generally handled by DX delivery or similar using a standard Next Working Day Delivery Service. Every effort by us and the courier will be made to delivery the consignment by the next working day but it is not a guaranteed next day service and we cannot held responsible for any delays. This means that if the carrier fails to deliver by the next day the carriage cost is still chargeable. Consignments are generally packaged in plain double skinned cardboard with appropriate banding.
Delivery in Mainland UK for consignments over circa 100kg, is generally handled by a pallet network using a standard Next Working Day Delivery Service. Every effort by us and the courier will be made to delivery the consignment by the next working day but it is not a guaranteed next day service. This means that if the carrier fails to deliver by the next day the carriage cost is still chargeable. However for pallets over a standard single pallet size may take longer. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that there is safe and ample space for delivery of the goods and offloading.
For palletised consignments it is the customer’s responsibility to have suitable off loading gear or adequate personnel to be able to offload in a reasonable time frame. Generally standard orders received by 12.00pm we would aim to dispatch on the same working day for a next working day delivery (Delivery times are from 8.00am to 6.00pm). But we cannot guarantee this. If you have a specific delivery date, please contact us. Orders received after 12.00pm may be dispatched on the same day but likely to be the following day on a next working day delivery. If any items cannot be delivered for circumstances not connected with Grating Direct, for example if nobody was available to accept the consignment or if your premises are closed during the delivery time frame, a re-delivery cost may be chargeable .
EUROPE & Rest of the World: Although we do offer delivery to Europe and the Rest of the World, we currently do not offer online delivery costs for these countries. Please contact us to discuss your requirements and to receive a bespoke deliver cost to your country. The majority of products displayed on the site are available ex-stock, however should your order contain a product that is out of stock or is subject to a longer lead time, we will contact you via email or telephone within 24 hours of placement of your order to inform you of an anticipated delivery date.
