Ordering Online

Ordering Online with us is safe and secure! We employ a method of interaction with our visitors that does not compromise credit card information. This online system is 100% secure. We encourage you to feel comfortable using your credit card to conduct commerce on our site. If you wish, you may also send us a Postal Order (only) or a personal cheque. Personal cheques will delay your order as we must wait for your funds to clear before we ship any merchandise. Please allow an additional 7-10 business days for shipping of your merchandise if paid by personal cheque. To order by cheque, just print the order form with your shopping basket contents from the order confirmation page and complete the necessary fields, then mail the form to the address above. All orders placed are subject to these standard terms and conditions. Paying by Credit Card If you select to pay by credit card you will go through to HSBC secure payment area to enter in your credit card details. Paying by Purchase Order If selecting to pay by purchase order, you will need to enter your valid purchase order number. Companies choosing to pay by purchase order who do not have an account with Safety Products Direct Limited are subject to normal credit checks. We will contact you within 24 hours by email or telephone if we are unable to accept your purchase order. If this is the case, you will be given the opportunity to pay by another method. Payment terms for purchase orders are 14 days from date of invoice unless stated otherwise.

Return / Refund Policy

Every item we sell is carefully inspected before it is shipped. If you are not satisfied with the goods and inform us within three days of receipt of the goods and return them to us in unused and in original packaging within 5 working days of receipt of goods, we will offer a refund for the items excluding any shipping costs and excluding a 20{60d575b34a0a45c4f8b2391d262e58555373c1346cbf65bc078926075bfd6b38} (of the value of the goods) re-stocking charge. We will exchange items if they are found to be faulty on delivery to you and we are notified within three days of the customers receipt of the product. Any goods believed to be faulty should be returned to us and must be carefully repackaged in their original packaging. The goods will then be inspected within 2-3 working days and if the goods are confirmed to be faulty, replacement goods will be offered. If the goods are not found to be faulty or it is believed that the goods have been misused or not used in the correct manner, we will be unable to offer any refunds. We regret we are unable to accept returns of any item that has been cut or made to order unless the goods have been supplied incorrectly by us or are damaged (see above) We are also unable to offer a collection service for any unwanted item unless wrongly supplied by us or signed for as damaged on delivery.  Consent must be given by us for any returns so please contact us within 2-3 working days should you wish to return any item.  Once our consent is given items but be returned to us within 5 working days. Goods received without our consent or outside of the 5 day period will be returned to sender. Any materials that have been cut down from our standard stock sizes (generally the maximum size shown for a product) we are unable to accept returns for. If you are unsure if the size you are looking to order is deemed as a cut size, please contact us in advance of placing your order. It is essential that all items to be returned or collected are packaged in their original packaging.  Some items are packed with special packaging to protect them during transit.  We cannot be held responsible for packages that have been returned to us damaged if they have not been returned in the full and complete original packaging.  This may affect your refund.

Delivery Information

Delivery charges are calculated on the total weight of the order. Over sized goods may be delivered on a pallet. It is the customers responsibility to ensure that they have suitable off loading equipment. Please make note of the delivery charges associated with each item. If upon delivery any item is damaged, not of correct quantity or does not comply with the description, please endorse the delivery document accordingly and advise us immediately in writing. We are unable to accept any claims unless reported at the time of delivery.


Goods are charged at price shown on the product pages on the date the customer places the order and are exclusive of VAT. Prices are correct at time of publication. Errors and omissions are excepted. Orders will be processed at our published prices, otherwise, in the case of any unexpected change in price, you will be informed and asked if you wish to reconsider your order before proceeding.


If we should receive a complaint about any part of our service, by phone, fax, e-mail or letter, then it will be dealt with promptly (we will reply within 5 working days). It will then be dealt with confidentially and effectively.

Neither the service nor any of its agents, affiliates or content providers shall be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising out of use of the service or inability to gain access to or use the service or out of any breach of any warranty. Customer hereby acknowledges that the provisions of this section shall apply to all content on the service.
