What is the difference between standard and heavy duty?
Standard duty suits most stairs under normal use. Heavy duty has a coarser, tougher surface for very high footfall such as train stations, hospitals, stadiums, car parks and industrial walkways.
Do stair tread covers help with DDA compliance?
Yes. A dark cover with a contrasting yellow or white nosing improves visibility for partially sighted users and supports DDA and Building Regulations Part M good practice.
How are they fixed?
